Included Hardware • Rod Racks (2) • Screws (12) • Wall Anchors (12)
Tools Needed (Not Supplied) • Level • Pen, Pencil, or Sharp Object • Drill (with appropriate bit size for wall anchors) • Phillips Screwdriver or Drill Driver • Hammer
1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay out all included hardware and tools on a flat surface to ensure everything is organized and accessible.
2. Choose a Location: Decide where to mount the rod rack—on the ceiling for overhead storage or on a wall, either horizontally or vertically. Use a level to ensure the rack is aligned to your preference.
3. Mark the Anchor Holes: Hold the first rod rack in the desired position and use a pen, pencil, or sharp object to mark the six anchor hole locations through the base of the rack.
4. Drill Holes for Wall Anchors: Use a drill to create holes at the marked locations, ensuring each hole matches the size of the provided wall anchors in both diameter and depth.
5. Insert Wall Anchors: Gently tap the wall anchors into the drilled holes using a hammer until they are flush with the surface.
6. Secure the First Rod Rack: Hold the rod rack in place and drive the screws through the six holes in the rack base, securing it to the wall or ceiling using a Phillips screwdriver or drill driver.
7. Position the Second Rod Rack: Insert a fishing pole into the installed rod rack and use the opposite end of the pole as a guide to position the second rod rack accurately.
8. Install the Second Rod Rack: Repeat the process from step 3 to step 6 to secure the second rod rack in the desired position.
9. Expand with Additional Racks (Optional): For added capacity, connect additional racks by joining their interlocking ends to expand storage as needed.
Your rod racks are now securely installed and ready for use!
