2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be 18 years or older to make purchases.
2.2 Products are available only to customers within the United States.

3. Products and Services

3.1 Big Daddy Life does not offer custom designs or colors for products.
3.2 All product descriptions, images, and pricing are for reference and may change without notice.

4. Payments

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods: Major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, Google Pay, Afterpay, and Affirm.
4.2 Transactions are in USD.
4.3 Applicable sales tax will be added to orders where required.

5. Shipping and Local Pickup

5.1 Shipping is handled via USPS:

  • Ground Advantage: Estimated 15–20 business days

5.2 Shipping rates are calculated at checkout by USPS.
5.3 Free Ground Advantage shipping for orders of $99.99 or more.
5.4 Non-delivery: Allow 10 extra business days before requesting a refund.

Local Pickup:
5.5 Pickup at 580 West Leeds Avenue, Absecon, NJ 08201
5.6 Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET (excluding holidays)
5.7 Do not arrive before receiving a call from our team.
5.8 Military and veteran customers: Verification required. We do not accept IDs due to federal Privacy Act and Department of Defense regulations. See Section 7 for details.
5.9 Orders must be picked up within 10 business days of call notification.
5.10 Orders not picked up within 30 days may be considered abandoned.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Returns accepted within 30 days for unused items in original packaging.
6.2 Non-returnable items:

  • Discounted or sale items

  • Damaged or altered items

  • Items received more than 30 days ago

6.3 Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
6.4 Refunds are processed within 2–3 weeks; 1–2 billing cycles may be required for credit card statements.
6.5 Exchanges are not offered.

7. Military and Veteran Discounts

7.1 Eligibility: Active-duty U.S. military personnel and veterans.
7.2 Verification: Customers must email proof of service to marketing@bigdaddylife.com with the subject line “Military Discount.” Acceptable documents include:

  • Redacted DD214

  • VA card

  • Military email (.mil)

  • Documentation of honorable discharge or active service

7.3 Document Requirements: All sensitive information, including photos, barcodes, DoD ID numbers, and Social Security numbers, must be fully redacted. Military and veteran ID cards CANNOT be photocopied or submitted for our Military Discount program in compliance with federal law 18 U.S.C. § 701 (Title 18, United States Code, Part I, Chapter 33).
7.4 Documents are used solely for verification and are permanently deleted after confirmation.
7.5 Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.

8. Warranty and Liability

8.1 Products are sold as-is; no warranty is provided.
8.2 Big Daddy Life is not liable for damages resulting from misuse of products.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All logos, trademarks, and website content are the property of Big Daddy Fishing Rod Racks, LLC.
9.2 Users may not reproduce or modify content without permission.

10. User Conduct

10.1 Users must not engage in fraud, illegal activity, or spam.
10.2 Big Daddy Life reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 Data collected includes name, email, shipping info, and payment details for order processing.
11.2 Data is stored securely and used solely for order fulfillment, communications, and military discount verification.
11.3 Customer data is never shared with third parties.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
12.2 Disputes will first be handled through arbitration before legal action.

13. Policy Updates and Customer Responsibility

13.1 Big Daddy Life may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
13.2 Customers are responsible for reviewing policies periodically.
13.3 Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
